Unlawful Eviction of Celebrity Kym E. Whitley

North Hollywood, CA --- On Wednesday evening, January 15th the owner of the HaHa Café unlawfully evicted Wacked~Out Wednesday’s Comedy Workout because a bar patron who was to drunk to be served liquor purchased a beer at the store and came back to the club.

Kym E.Whitley and Buddy Lewis came to the owners of a small dank restaurant called Los Amegos six years ago when the restaurant was only open for lunch bringing in clients and comedians like Steve Harvey, Angela Bassett, Eddie Murphy, Chris Tucker, Tracee Ross, Dwayne Martin, Tisha Campbell, Arseino Hall, Sugar Ray Leonard, DMX, Busta Rhymes, John Amos, Kim Fields, Farrah Facett, Grace Jones, Shemar Moore, Clifton Powell, Jamie Foxx, Ali Woodson, Miguel A. Nunez, The Wayan Brothers, Robi Reed, Robin Givens, Anita Pointer, Paul Mooney and Macy Gray just to name a few.

With the popularity of Wednesday nights, the restaurant grew, changed its name to the HaHa Café and began bringing in comedy nearly every night thanks to the success of Wednesday nights. A flashing marquee was erected on the roof and the owners never saw fit to put Kym and Buddys name up in lights.

Wacked~Out Wednesday’s… A comedy joint in the neighborhood where the nations hottest comedians come to workout their routines and showcase their material has moved to Pasha, 3575 Cahuenga Blvd., West, Los Angeles, CA 323~851~8855, across the street from Universal City Nissan Dealership, between Lankershim and Barham.

Join us this Wednesday, January 22nd at 8pm for the Grand Opening with an all star celebrity line up of comedians you have seen on HBO’s Comedy Def Jam, BET’s Comic View, Universal Ampitheatre, the Apollo, “Brothers”, “Barber Shop”, “Oh Drama!”, Cable and Network Television.
