The artistic exhibition showcases new works by 15 artists of different generations and ethnic/cultural backgrounds who investigate and respond to the impact of the decision. Many pieces offer a critical view of the decision's effect, or lack thereof, on the educational system and as a tool to change social conditions. Still others analyze the current state of education and the many obstacles confronting contemporary students and education systems. Special attention is also paid to the often under-estimated role of family and community, and the psychological minefield of affirmative action on long-term individual and social development.
