Due to the overwhelming success of their first two fundraiser concerts, Bleu Orleans is very excited about the creation of a monthly series to be held at The Jazz Bakery. The purpose of this series is to maintain awareness of those affected by what is being called "America's greatest natural disaster" and provide financial relief for those in need.

The music continues at the Jazz Bakery this Sunday, February 12th at 4p.m. Join Bleu Orleans as they welcome New Orleans' vocalist Phillip Manuel to Los Angeles. Whether singing romantic ballads, jazz selections or funky R&B, this nationally acclaimed artist is a favorite with the ladies. Phillip's dynamic performances always leave his audience swaying in their seats and mesmerized by his extraordinary vocal range which extends from resonating baritone to piercing falsetto.

This in-demand vocalist has recorded and performed with a host of talented performers, including Patti LaBelle, Aaron Neville, Dr. John, Phyllis Hyman, Jon Faddis, Nicholas Payton, Jon Hendricks, and many more. Phillip Manuel's body of work includes a soundtrack for a motion picture and five other discs as a leader including his critically acclaimed "Love Happened to Me" on the MAXJAZZ label. He regularly performs with the Louisiana Philharmonic and the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestras. He has also been featured with the Tulsa Oklahoma Philharmonic and the Lexington Kentucky Philharmonic Orchestras.

"His vocal range is phenomenal" - The Boston Globe

Host Committee: Andre Dawson, Eric Klein, Garnett March and Glen March

This will be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family, that special someone, or a group of friends. We hope to see you there.
